YEAR ROUND Positions


PROJECT SUPERVISOR

The Copper Mountain Resort Association is looking to fill a part-time, year-round position. The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing construction/maintenance projects for the Village at Copper (VAC) and Copper Mountain Resort Association (CMRA).

  • Starts at $65,000/yr

  • Responsibilities include Responsible for overseeing all projects; participate in research, project scoping and budgeting; manage all dates/processes within a project to ensure the project progresses as anticipated; work with Operations Manager to obtain necessary permits & approvals; create and submit RFPs, analyze bids and interview new contractors, vendors, etc. to make final recommendations; supervise the day to day of each project to ensure directive and performance; communicate project statuses to Management team and identify any barriers; help Operations Team complete daily tasks; not limited to snow removal, trash removal, general operations, landscaping ; prepare spreadsheets & other documents as needed; Provide cost, material, equipment, and time estimates upon request; Schedule and complete training sessions when required; Multitask and complete all responsibilities in a timely manner

PART TIME MAIL SORTER

The Copper Mountain Resort Association is looking to fill a part-time, year-round position for the Post Office!

  • Starts at $18/hr

  • Responsibilities include preparing mail and parcels for distribution, light cleaning, record keeping and filing. Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and have customer service experience.

  • The expected schedule would be Saturdays from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm (approximately).

LEAD TEACHER
We are seeking passionate and experienced Lead Teachers to join our team. As a lead teacher you will play a pivotal role in creating a stimulating and inspiring educational experience for children while fostering strong relationships with parents and collaborating with fellow educators. Copper Mountain Community Childcare - Mountain Sprouts Academy

An Assistant Teacher in a Reggio Emilia inspired childcare center plays an important role in supporting the educational philosophy and practices of the center, which is characterized by a child-centered, collaborative, and inquiry-based approach to early childhood education.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support Curriculum Implementation: Assist in planning and implementing age appropriate, child-led, and project-based activities that align with the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Encourage and facilitate child-initiated projects and explorations. Document children’s experiences and learning through observations, photographs, and other means.

  2. Classroom Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning environment that reflects the principles of aesthetics and beauty. Assist in setting up provocations, materials, and resources to spark children’s interests and inquiries.
