World's Best Snowboarders to Compete In Three Colorado Events Next Season

The 2025-2026 FIS contest season will be a big one for the members of the U.S. snowboard team, as riders bid for a qualifying spot at the Olympics. All three stateside contests will be held in Colorado.
The Visa Big Air contest will be held at Steamboat Resort. It will be the first event at the ski area since December 2021. Then, Copper Mountain will host the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix in late December, with snowboard and freeski halfpipe contests.
The final stop will be in January at Aspen’s Buttermilk Mountain. Aspen will host the slopestyle and halfpipe riders immediately after the 2025 X Games. The U.S. Olympic team will be named after the event.
