Post Office at Copper Mountain

 

Copper Mountain Resort Association (CMRA) began mail delivery in November 2014 to post boxes within Copper Mountain. We are a private mailbox service, however, we receive delivery from USPS and honor the USPS Government holidays. Seasonal and full-time boxes are available.

There is a USPS collections box located outside of the post office. Stamps and other mailing supplies are available for purchase at the Copper Mountain Business Center.

    General deliveries are not accepted.

  • Outgoing mail pick-ups are daily Mon – Sat, times vary. For urgent mail/parcels that must go out same day we recommend dropping off directly to specific carrier locations.

    Package pick-up and general inquiry:
    Monday - Saturday, 1:00 PM - 2:30PM*
    *Packages placed in keyed lockers, and mail may be picked up 24/7

    Closed on Sundays and holidays.

    Two forms of ID are required to fill out an application: a photo ID and an address ID. One of each from the below accepted ID categories (driver’s license may only be used for one category).

    • Uniformed Service ID

    • U.S. Access Card

    • U.S. University ID Card

    • Passport

    • Matricula Consular

    • NEXUS Card

    • U.S. State/Territory/Tribal Driver’s or Nondriver’s ID Card

    • Mortgage or Deed of Trust

    • Size - 3.5” X 3.5”

    • Per Year: $75.00

    • Seasonal*: $45.00

    Box Type 2

    • Size - 5.5” X 5.5”

    • Per Year: $90.00

    • Seasonal*: $55.00

    Box Type 3 (business use only)

    • Size - 1” X 5.5”

    • Per Year: $180.00

    • Seasonal*: $110.00

    Box Type 4 (currently unavailable)

    • Size - 10” X 10”

    • Per Year: $275.00

    • Seasonal*: $165.00

    *Seasonal is from Nov 1 to April 30 or May 1 to October 31

    Late/Unlock Fee: $50.00. If you do not renew your box by the due date, a late fee may be imposed to unlock the box.

    Rekey Fee: $75.00. This includes a new lock and two new key deposits

  • For Mail Holds or Mail Forwards request please email info@copper-ra.com.

    If you have a Copper Mountain Post Office Box and are moving or need mail temporarily forwarded, the process will be a little different as we are no longer a United States Post Office. We are charged by USPS to forward mail, therefore we add a postage charge for a priority mail envelope's shipping and handling. If you would like boxes forwarded, there is a per weight shipping charge via the carrier. You will be billed for the weight estimate. Pricing will be determined upon contacting the office.
